Aim-To encourage students to understand and learn science on deeper level. To inculcate scientific attitude among children and to clear basic scientific concepts.

Junior group– Students studying in 5th and 6thstd
Senior group– Students studying in 7th and 8thstd
Medium- English and Marathi
Exam pattern-
Sir C. V. Raman Science Talent Search exam is conducted in two phases.
Phase I-Written objective type exam(Questions 100, Marks-100, Time 90 min)
Phase II- Practical Exam
The exam is conducted in January every year. The selected students can appear for second level which consists Practicals and interview.
Syllabus-
For Junior group– Text books of 5th,and 6th standard d S.S.C. syllabus and content related to the above from ICSE, IB and CBSE books
For senior group- Text books of 7th and 8th standard of S.S.C. syllabus and content related to the above from ICSE, CBSE and IB books.
We recommend that students appear for the Junior Group in Class 5 and for Senior Group in class 8. This exam is like a preparatory exam of Homi Bhabha Balvaidnyanik Competition which is conducted for students studying in 6th and 9th standard.About 17% syllabus of Homi Bhabha Junior Scientist Exam is covered in this Exam that helps students to become Junior Scientist in Homi Bhabha Balvaidnyanik Competition. Students can apply for this exam in class 6th if he/she has not appeared for it in class 5.Similar dynamics are applicable for senior group also.
